Who We Are

PeakGauge is operated by RingerRival LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Account information:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Business name
  • Password (hashed, never stored in plain text)

Business data from integrations:

  • Revenue totals and summaries
  • Appointment counts
  • Payroll percentages
  • Operational metrics (no-show rates, rebooking rates)

What we do NOT collect:

  • Customer credit card numbers
  • Social Security numbers
  • Individual customer personal information from your salon
  • Bank account credentials
  • Your Square or QuickBooks passwords

How We Use Your Data

  • Display your business metrics on your dashboard
  • Calculate your Business Health Score
  • Highlight metrics that are off target
  • Process your subscription payment via a PCI-certified payment processor

What We Never Do

  • Sell your data to anyone
  • Share your data with other PeakGauge customers
  • Use your data to train AI models
  • Show your data to PeakGauge employees without your permission
  • Send you marketing emails from third parties

Third-Party Services

We use the following categories of service providers to operate PeakGauge:

  • Database and Authentication - SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure
  • Application Hosting - SOC 2 Type II certified cloud platform
  • Payment Processing - PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider
  • Email Delivery - transactional email service
  • AI Summaries (only when switched on) - Anthropic writes the one- or two-line daily brief from your salon's totals (for example, revenue and no-show rate for the month). It never receives customer, staff or owner names or contact details, and it does not use this data to train its models

All service providers are industry-standard, US-based vendors with enterprise security certifications. Specific vendor details available upon request.

Data Security

  • All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • OAuth integration tokens encrypted with AES-256-GCM
  • Database-level tenant isolation (Row-Level Security)
  • Multi-factor authentication available
  • Security events logged and auditable

Data Retention

We retain your business data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 24 hours. There is no recovery after deletion.

Your Rights

  • Access: Export all your data anytime from Settings
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all data with one click in Settings
  • Disconnect: When Square and QuickBooks connections launch, disconnecting will revoke our access and delete data synced from that source
  • Correction: Update your business information in Settings at any time
  • Portability: Export your metrics as CSV for use elsewhere

Cookies

PeakGauge uses essential cookies only - for authentication session management and theme preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of PeakGauge after changes constitutes acceptance.
